Asking the question is actually a last ditch effort at getting out of organizing! Be brave, answer the question. Answering will provide the reasons and the encouragement needed to stay on task

One of the biggest reasons to organize is because people depend on you. No matter who you are or what you do, people depend on you. Who's depending on you? Family? Work? Volunteer Organization? You deserve the calm and control that being organized provides. It gives you control of the paper, time, and stuff of life.
Organized surroundings can create either more productivity or less productivity, whichever you choose. To this point, YOU choose so, someone or something else doesn't choose for you. It allows for focus on important people, tasks, and things.

Getting organized takes time, planning, and thought. Once organized, it will need to be maintained, which takes time and effort. Efforts are directed from unproductive work to productive work.
