Start on a small spot first. The immediate satisfaction of success will inspire you on to greater tasks. The 'Junk Drawer' is a good place to start. Before even touching it, rename it.

Put a note on it if needed. It will become what it is called. (Side note, don't ever call yourself disorganized again, you too, will become what you call yourself. You are organized because you have begun the change.)

When starting a large task consider the following tips:
~Take Breaks
~Dress comfortably
~Have good TV, radio or music
~Have lunch and dinner planned (or eat out.)
~Use work gloves with grippy dots to help move boxes.

~Wear gloves whenever possible to keep hands clean. Dirt dries hands, too many washings dries skin, nails and cuticles. (Let's not sacrifice our hands to the cause!)
~Eat high protein snacks, avoid sugar, it will give you the afternoon blahs.
~Ignore the phone, you won't make it in time anyway. Let the answering machine get it.
