Like other things in life, it's hard to get organized unless pushed to it for one reason or another, disorganization rock bottom, maybe! |

What do they have in common? A goal: getting organized and staying
organized. Although the time it takes to achieve the goal and the
way each works may be different, success is common to both.

![]() What is the first thing to do? Know how you work and don't get discouraged. You are making a life change that takes time. Know the two basic types of workers, The Bulldozer and The Shoveler. Both move mountains, although in different ways. |
The Bulldozer takes a job, plows in, and doesn't stop until the
job is done. The Bulldozer is singularly focused, often neglecting
everything for fear it will distract. TV dinners and pizza are
a mainstay until the mountain is moved. The Bulldozer is driven
by passion for success or fear of failure. Either way, the
Bulldozer gets the job done.
The Shoveler, on the other hand, is the 'slow n steady' type. She tackles a job a scoop at a time and takes a step at a time working a small area and completing it before starting a new one. The Shoveler's family may not even know that reconstruction is underway. They are eating well and seeing her take on normal daily activities.
