Walk It Off!!!

"Walk if off, pal!"

Isn't that what gruff old bar owners say to patrons who have a few too many and get into a brawl over such atrocities as who Trixie is going to dance with? I think so, but in this context "walk it off" means walk off stress. That's right - just moving those legs can do wonders to free the stress that is churning through your body!! So, what do you do? Just walk. Not for long - not really far. But try to take a walk whenever you can. When you are feeling particularly stressed out, stop what you are doing and take a quick walk around the block. It does wonders to help you return to fully functional! Walking is such a powerful exercise that Duke University researchers say that a jog or walk three times a week can be as effective at treating depression as anti-depressant medication. Bet the drug companies don't want this factoid to get out!! So tackle that stress by taking a walk. Your body and mind benefit!!
