Are You a Web Addict?
"Do I spend too much time online?"
It's a question I'm sure each of us has wondered at some point in our lives (oh, come on, admit it! You know you've had that question cross your mind at least ONCE!)
Well, some psychiatrists are actually taking the time to use science to determine whether the internet can actually be an addiction.

Beware fake eBay and PayPal scams
Hi everyone - this probably doesn't count as "breaking news" since it happens so frequently, but just in case anyone missed the last few alerts...
The PayPal and eBay scammers are making the rounds again. The scam works like this - you get an email that looks just like it's from PayPal or eBay. However, when you follow the link in the email, you end up at the scammer's site. Supposedly you're confirming your information, but you're actually submitting the info to thieves, and this can lead to credit card fraud and identity theft...

Selling on eBay - Tips?
We've been selling on eBay in addition to our website for a few years now. As such it hasn't really been a primary focus, but we have started changing the way we're doing things after researching some competitors.
We're selling what is essentially an impulse-buy luxury item, and our retail prices are comparatively low--in the $10-$40 range.
We had been starting auctions at just under retail price, but we've now tried auctions starting at 50% retail price and at $1 with reserve. In addition, I've recently been trying to add more precise information about our product--materials used, size, etc. It doesn't really seem like people are willing to bid up anywhere near our retail price, except in the case of a few items here and there.
Does anyone have more experience selling on eBay that could give us some suggestions as to how to increase bids?

How to say NO to a link exchange request!
Hi,
this is a dilemma I run into often, so I'm sure a lot of you out there do to! Another web master contacts me to exchange links with them, but their site is absolutely horrible! I don't want to not respond (as this doesn't look good for my company), but I don't want to exchage links either! I still haven't figured out a good way to say no thanks to a site who's content might be inline with ours, but is just not a user friendly, well-organized site (basically not a site I want to send our customers/users too)!
Any ideas or suggestions would be more than welcomed! Thank you!

Use Your Emotional Intelligence When Traveling Abroad
