VirtualBank offers no monthly fees or minimum balance requirement, and they have great interest rates on checking accounts. For what they lack in customer service, they make up for in great savings and monetary perks. They even redeem up to six bucks in ATM charges per month. You should give some tasks your full attention. You'll have to use your best judgment to decide which tasks those are. Complex projects require a great degree of focus, and trying to do other things at the same time can lead to errors in judgment. ====================================================================== 4) Inspiration "Regard your good name as the richest jewel you can possibly be possessed of - for credit is like fire; when once you have kindled it you may easily preserve it, but if you once extinguish it, you will find it an arduous task to rekindle it again. The way to gain a good reputation is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear." --Socrates ====================================================================== Learn how to reduce the time and risks involved in obtaining consulting services. http://www.activepro.com/rd/prosavvyb.html ====================================================================== 5) Personalizing Your Work Space Do you feel as though you're entering a different world when you go to work? Like you have two lives, with a separate personality and way of expressing yourself for each? This is not uncommon. In fact, I have not met many people in my life who would answer no to these questions. Many people see this as being the reason they don't like to go to work. They feel like they're too restricted in the way they conduct themselves. They wish they could be more open and truthful at work. They dream that they could feel the same way they do when they're at home with their loved ones. I don't recommend taking your shoes off and slipping into your pajamas at work, but I do recommend doing everything you can get away with in order to make yourself feel more comfortable. If you get caught in your office with your pants around your ankles doing the twist, don't blame me! My advice is to merely personalize your work space a little more. Pictures are a necessity. It's always helpful to see the face of a loved one in a time of need. And if you don't ever lay them face down, they may keep you from doing something that you would regret. I know your desk is full already, but don't hesitate to keep a few small mementos around. They make you think of things that make you happy, and they give the extra comfort that's needed to be true to yourself. You might even find your "home self" starting to bleed into your "work self". Although you've always thought that this was a big no-no, I personally think that it helps encourage creativity and the ability to make sound decisions. ====================================================================== Sign up for free newsletters: http://www.eZined.com/newsignup.html ====================================================================== --- ActivePro is an eZined.com publication --- http://www.eZined.com/ ======================================================================
