Here is a very simple thing that's worth trying. I'm not saying it's easy, but if you can pull it off, it might help you lead a less frustrating existence. Make yourself become conscious of these patterns, and see them as a problem instead of a justified reaction. Although we might want to, we can't blow up at the office. It could jeopardize our career. When you realize that the pattern is starting to develop, go to your happy place. I don't mean a magic garden or a cloud fortress, unless that's your cup of tea. Think of the most positive things you can. You'll find you'll calm down almost instantly. Then do the best you can to satisfy the situation. Regardless of whether anyone else notices or not, you can leave the office knowing you did the best you could, and you go home with a positive frame of mind.

Stress Management at Work
If you're like the majority of working people, then you find work to be extremely stressful. The constant demands (some completely irrational) are just too much. The expectations come with little reward. You might find yourself in a highly negative mind frame when you're in the office, and it could even spill over into your home life. If this is true for you, then you need to expel those bad thoughts with a little positive thinking.

We're all guilty of it. Sometimes it seems like we can't even control our own thoughts. Our boss or a co-worker has been riding us hard, and the demands are way too high to possibly satisfy their needs. We get caught in that downward spiral of thought where every negative thought sets a foundation for the next. We can't even put things that usually cheer us up in the proper perspective. What can we do?!
